NEW BRAUNFELS, TX, November 10, 2011, Elizabeth Clark, DO, MPH, TM, Medical Director of Weightloss & Cosmetics, has been recognized by Elite American Health Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care.
Dr. Clark served in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army for more than 25 years. She has amassed a wealth of experience and knowledge which supports her in her current capacity as head of a health care and cosmetic practice. She feels proud to have built a career in health care that has allowed her to help people to reach their weight loss goals. She has earned a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Tulane University, as well as a DO from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Moreover, she has completed an Internship at Orlando General Hospital and a Residency in Aerospace Medicine and Preventive Medicine at Brooks AFB. She also holds a number of accreditations, including a Board Certification as granted by the American Osteopathic Family Physicians, a Certification in Family Practice, a Certification in Aerospace Medicine and a Certification in Occupational and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Clark is the president of the American Osteopathic College of Occupational & Preventive Medicine, and this past summer, the organization ranked second in the nation in equine drill in the gaited class and small group select while riding with no bit, no bridle and no saddle, and promoting natural horsemanship.
Due to sheer perseverance, hard work and a determination to never give less than 110%, Dr. Clark was able to shine during her service in the military. She received a Bronze Star and a Legion of Merit decoration from the United States Air Force. She also earned a Star Spangled Banner Medallion, Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2009. Looking ahead toward a bright future, Dr. Clark intends to publish a book on weight loss and expand her company’s practice. She also helps to rehabilitate horses andd she looks forward to launching the 24/7 horse channel, RIDE TV UNBRIDLED. Dr. Clark feels that her work as a doctor is fulfilling as she is able to give lots of hug and share her compassion, and her work with horses allows her to fulfill a love for working with animals.
