TEMPLE, TEXAS | OCTOBER 21, 2010 | Glenda L. Kelley, Medical Administrative Secretary for Scott & White, has been recognized by Elite American Health Professionals for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in clerical operations.
With 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Kelley specializes in logistics management. Beginning her career as an aide in transport, she then worked as a patient service representative. Finally, she became a medical administrative secretary in June 2006 for Scott & White, a hospital providing health care and rehabilitation for all maladies including trauma, stroke and amputation. In her role, she takes responsibility in arranging consultations for physicians to evaluate prospective rehabilitation for patients, generating all pertinent information for physicians, conducting quarterly, monthly and yearly audits, generating medical reports for inpatient and outpatients, and performing all administrative functions.
In August of 2010 she graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from American InterContinental University, Ms. Kelley obtained her Associate in Applied Arts from Temple College. In addition, she attained her Automated External Defibrillator certification and is a member of the American Stroke Association. She attributes her success to her faith in God and to the support she receives from her family and colleagues.
