After his daughter was diagnosed with cancer, James L. Campbell decided to pledge his career to helping others afflicted with her disease. He has done exactly that over the course of nearly two decades, exhibiting compassion and commitment to patients as the head of his own radiologic technology consulting firm. A respected expert in the evaluation of radiation producing machines and radiation safety programs, Mr. Campbell is sought to advise health care professionals, design rooms for optimum work-flow, and implement and revise programs that ensure radiation safety. He also oversees operations and marketing activities, and purchases major equipment and supplies.
Mr. Campbell holds an Associate of Applied Science. He became a Certified Radiologic Technologist through Midland College, and is a Registered Medical Radiologic Technologist and a Certified Radiation Safety Officer. Additionally, he earned certifications in Medical Management for Radiological Emergencies and Waste Isolation Pilot Plant, both from the United States Department of Energy. An active member of his profession, Mr. Campbell is affiliated with the Texas Society of Radiologic Technologists, The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and American Healthcare Radiology Administrators. He is a member of the Committe of Radiation Control Program Directors and serves as an advisor on the following committees: HR-ES4 Committee, Emergency Radiation Management D.O.E. Washington D.C., H-32 Computed Tomography Committee (Texas), and Diagnostic Quality Assurance, Rules and Regulations (Texas).
