Over the past nine years, Ms. Wolk has demonstrated her expertise in diabetes education and counseling as the director of nutrition care at Tillamook County General Hospital. She attributes her successful 35-year career in health care to the mentors she had along the way. She was especially inspired by her home economics teacher during high school and chemistry instructor. Ms. Wolk is a firm believer of treating everyone she encounters with respect. She likes to remain open to any opportunities to learn from others.

In 1970, Ms. Wolk earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Loma Linda University. A certified diabetes educator, she holds memberships to the American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Diabetes Educators, as well as the American Dietetic Association. In her spare time, Ms. Wolk volunteers at her local church and lends her culinary skills as a chef for Men of Christ.
