Dr. Atuah became a Registered Pharmacist after attending Long Island University in 1986. He then went on to become a Doctor of Pharmacy after studying at Idaho State University in 2009. He has been able to remain abreast of trends and developments in pharmacy services and research initiatives as a member of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association and the American Pharmacists Association.
In his current capacity, Dr. Atuah handles patient diagnosis and the distribution of pharmaceuticals. He is a Pharmacist Clinician (PhC)/Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. He has amassed an abundance of knowledge and experience which includes supplementary training and an expanded scope of practice that includes prescriptive authority and disease management. In his spare time, Dr. Atuah enjoys reading industry-related publications such as the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association, and playing soccer.
