Joseph B. Atuah, Pharm.D. is a Pharmacist for the New York Harbor Health Care System, a subsidiary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, a government organization that provides health care services for American veterans, as well as tertiary care, and research, education and residency programs that are fully affiliated with New York University and Bellevue Hospital Center.

When asked what factors or attributes have played a role in his success during an exclusive EliteAMERICAN interview, Dr. Atuah responded without delay, “my dedication and my desire to help other human beings, and to see people get better.” Throughout a thriving career in pharmacy services, Dr. Atuah has served diligently in the facilitation of medicinal distribution. He feels strongly that his honesty and trustworthiness have played key roles in the achievements of his professional goals, which are chiefly to assist people in achieving optimal health by providing on-target patient diagnoses. Dr. Atuah is also a devoted believer in the Christian faith, and he considers God to be the ultimate component of his success. In addition to his work ethics and values, Dr. Atuah identifies his spirituality as the main factor of his achievements, which include his earning such accreditations as a Registered Pharmacist from Long Island University, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Idaho State University. “I want to be able to have God reveal himself through me to all people,” he said.

Dr. Atuah has spent more than 25 years honing a sophisticated skill set in patient diagnosis and pharmaceutical distribution, and he makes every effort to continue to expand on his talents. Dr. Atuah is a member of the Connecticut Pharmacists Association and the American Pharmacists Association. He is proud of the fact that he has remained with the same organization for the last 25 years. Ever passionate about remaining abreast of trends and developments in pharmacy services, Dr. Atuah enjoys reading such industry-related publications as the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association.
