For the past 17 years, Ms. Pfluger has demonstrated her expert pharmaceutical knowledge at the Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center. She is an enthusiastic staff member who has the ability to inform patients about their illnesses without using complex medical terminology. In addition, she conducts research on diabetes treatments, drawing on her previous experience as a microbiologist.

Ms. Pfluger earned a registered pharmacist designation from St. John’s University in 1992. She stays abreast of industry changes and discoveries through her membership with The Pharmacist Letter. She plans on becoming a certified diabetic counselor in the near future.
