JACKSON, New Hampshire | October 26, 2010 | Mary Jane Baker, Clinical Social Worker, has been recognized by Elite American Health Professionals for her professional accomplishments, academic achievements, and leadership in all aspects of social work.
A social worker with over 35 years of experience in the field, Mary Jane Baker was always driven by a strong desire to help others. This instinct has not waned even at the age of 92. She has been working independently since 1985, managing her own home office through which she performs psychotherapy. Ms. Baker considers serving her community to be the most rewarding aspect of her long career. She enjoys helping others and her colleagues, and she believes in what she does. She attributes her success to her patience, integrity, and respect for others.
Ms. Baker received her master of social work in 1944 from Simmons College and her bachelor’s degree in English in 1939 from Tufts University. She is certifed by the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She is a diplomat of the ACSW and was honored with inclusion in Who’s Who of American Women. Ms. Baker looks forward to continuing as a social worker.
