Influenced by her mother, a caregiver, Ms. Mills set out to start her own home health care company, complemented with a durable medical equipment center. She has successfully maintained the constant growth her companies for the past 23 years as a result of her education in health care administration from St. Joseph’s College. With Heritage Home Care, Inc., she trains nurses to provide top-notch home health care services to her clients. She pairs her knowledge in quality care services with her sales ability to recommend the proper home medical equipment to her patients through Durable Medical Equipment Center.

Ms. Mills is a very active participant in health care outside of her companies as well. She volunteers her time at the North 4th Street Health Clinic and acts as a board member of the American Cancer Society. Affiliated with such local organizations as Victims Rights of Jefferson County, she and her husband have been featured on television and in other media numerous times.

Looking to the future, Ms. Mills hopes to publish her book on why different paths in life send people in certain directions.
