Robin A. Meleski is the Director of Health Education for the St. Joseph County Health Department. With a sophisticated background in the infrastructure of the health education program at the renowned health care company, Ms. Meleski shines in  her current capacity, ensuring the core fundamentals of the program are being adhered to while programs and process improvements are being implemented, overseeing the staff, and developing and directing community outreach programs. She is also in charge of giving presentations, coordinating invents which include health fairs, obesity reduction initiatives, cooking demos for elementary school students, and women’s and AIDS forums. In addition to these responsibilities, Ms. Meleski conducts a quality improvement project, through which she conducts a quality improvement project, and assesses surveys on the public health system; she initializes the lean six sigma yellow belt for program and process improvement, and writes for the grant review process of the organization. A recipient of the Ruth Weg Emerging Scholar Award, National Academic Honors from the Professional Society in Gerontology, and the Student Research Award, Ms. Meleski attributes her success to her drive to help others and being a hard worker.
