He has spent the last two decades in the agency’s Hospitals and Health Standards Section, where he specializes in emergency medicine and regulatory program management. Over the years, Mr. Erwin has earned the esteem of his peers, and today sits on the board of directors of the Louisiana Association of Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technicians.
In addition to industry-related certifications, Mr. Erwin holds a Bachelor of Science in general studies from Louisiana State University. He has been honored with a President’s Award by an emergency medical technician program and declared an Emergency Medical Technician of the Year. He attributes his success to never forgetting his roots.
Away from his professional duties, Mr. Erwin enjoys combat handgun shooting, watching football games, and reading. He is a supporter of LSU’s Tiger Athletic Foundation and the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
