Susan G. Trevithick, RN, MS, NE-BE is a Chief Compliance Officer for the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. With more than 41 years of professional experience and a strong background in nursing and administration, Ms. Trevithick manages the staff and various departments, implements various successful programs, and oversees the critical care and cardiology unit. She is also responsible for conducting integrated health care programs. In addition to her duties within the Wahlen Center, Ms. Trevithick performs hypnosis on interested parties. She became involved in her profession because as a young girl she always wanted to help people so this was a natural progression for her. She feels that young nursing students should pay attention to the the hard sciences such as mathematics, science and physics while they are in high school and try to go to a four year nursing school to obtain a bachelor of science.
