WEST MILFORD, NJ, February 20, 2013, William L. Wing, Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Practitioner, has been recognized by Elite American Health Professionals for dedication, achievements, and leadership in holistic therapy.

Mr. Wing took a mind control course with José Silva at the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University in 1972 and 1974. He started training in Reiki in 2004. Reiki is a simple hands-on healing technique for transferring healing energy from a giver to a receiver and is all-embracing in its effect. It involves the body, mind and soul and then attempts to get all these aspects of the being into a harmonious balance. Reiki is a powerful vibrating force or light energy. It adapts to the natural needs of the receiver, promotes natural self-healing, heals holistically, balances the energies in the body, relaxes and reduces stress, strengthens life force energy, strengthens the immune system, treats symptoms and causes of illness and releases blocked and suppressed feelings. He previously served as a sponsor for individuals with addictions. Mr. Wing has been married for 58 years.

Mr. Wing would like to be remembered as someone who always helped others in any way he could, whenever they needed help. This includes finding a local Reiki master for those who were not able to do an initial visit with him, as well as provide distant healing services for those who had completed a session with him and needed follow-up services. In addition, he signs petitions to be delivered to Congress and offers assistance in any way that he can for the nearly 35 organizations that he belongs to.

Specializing in holistic therapy through Reiki and Karuna Reiki therapies, Mr. Wing meets with his clients, and treats mental, emotional and physical disorders through hands-on Reiki therapies. After having amassed more than 41 years of professional experience, he pinpoints a major career highlight as serving our country and working with fellow airmen in the U.S. Air Force. It also enabled him to go back to school to get his degree through the G.I. Bill of Rights. Mr. Wing was honored as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, as well. He feels that his greatest career achievement, to date, has been running a full Sunday service when he was a second degree Reiki practitioner and offering his services to the entire congregation.
