CHADDS FORD, PA, April 4, 2014, Julie A. Hyland, RN, MSN, Consultant for IMA, has been recognized by Elite American Health Professionals for dedication, achievements and leadership in health care consulting.
Inspired by her own health issues as a child and her sister, who became a nurse, Ms. Hyland entered the health care profession. She has enjoyed more than 30 years in nursing and hospital leadership roles. Prior to joining IMA, a health care consulting company, Ms. Hyland worked for various medical schools, teaching acute care at hospitals for adults and pediatrics. She also spent 16 years as the chief operating officer in one of America’s most prestigious rehabilitation hospitals. After resigning from Temple University Hospital, where she served as associate hospital director for clinical services, Ms. Hyland got involved in consulting.
Ms. Hyland joined IMA Consulting in September 2013 because she wanted to utilize her strong skill set, past experience and industry knowledge to advise others. An expert in business management, she is responsible for overseeing perioperative services for 21 suites that provide pre-op, laboratory, occupational therapy, dropsical therapy, speech therapy, recreation, radiology and rehabilitation services in a 16-bed facility. She also handles operations improvement and analysis of efficiency. Her passion for nursing and desire to deliver excellent care has earned her the reputation as a well-rounded and respected health care professional. Ms. Hyland takes great pride in her work and hopes to continue doing meaningful work that positively impacts the lives of others.
