Johnson III, Executive Director of the Alaska Federal Health Care Partnership, has been recognized by Elite American Health Professionals for dedication, achievements and leadership in federal health care initiatives.Dedicated to serving others, Mr. Johnson has worked as director of the Alaska Federal Health Care Partnership since December 2004. The Alaska Federal Healthcare Partnership is a coalition of the Alaska Native Medical Center, the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Indian Health Service. It provides medical care, research, community health and information technology to more than 260,000 federal beneficiaries in Alaska. Mr. Johnson is a dedicated leader who is committed to providing Alaskan citizens with the highest quality services. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing administration of federal health care benefits throughout the state.Mr. Johnson is a retired Air Force colonel and base commander of Elmendorf Air Force Base. He also served as Alaska’s first commissioner of homeland securities and emergency service and is a former legislative liaison officer. Throughout his career, Mr. Johnson has worked on numerous projects and pursued various business and educational endeavors.He earned an MBA at the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in business administration at the Military College of South Carolina. He is a member of The United Way and a volunteer for the Special Olympics. Mr. Johnson also participates in veteran wheelchair games and various community organizations.
