Influenced by his high school biology teacher and his experience as a medic in the United States Army, Mr. Parker made the decision to pursue a career in the health care field. He has garnered nearly four decades of professional experience and has been serving in his position for the past 33. Well versed in surgery, geriatric medicine, trauma, correctional medicine, and frontier medicine, Mr. Parker is responsible for working in the emergency room, functioning as an attending physician assistant, providing immediate medical care, and consulting with physicians and specialists.

Mr. Parker believes in a strong educational foundation and has completed numerous degrees and certifications to better serve his patients, including an advanced trauma life support certification, advanced cardiac life support instructor certification, and pediatric advanced life support instructor certification. He was one of the first PAs in New York to earn the Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Emergency Medicine from the NCCPA. For his exceptional work, Mr. Parker became a distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He attributes his success to hard work, perseverance and thirst for knowledge.
