In her current role, she is able to make the most of her proficiencies in these areas while running regional monitor clinical trials for different pharmaceutical and technology companies, writing government contracts and traveling all over North America, the Dominican Republic, Canada and Puerto Rico to inspect and ensure that clinical human trials abide by federal code and United States Food and Administration regulations. Ms. Navarro is committed to ensuring patient safety and she is also in charge of reviewing boards for PRA.

Ms. Navarro was inspired to pursue her current career path by a desire to make the most of her knowledge and experience in a setting that would enable her to help others. She was able to follow her dreams after being given the opportunity to work on clinical trials after graduation. She enjoys connecting with nurses, doctors and staff on a day-to-day basis regarding disease and treatments. She feels that she is in a rewarding profession and enjoys seeing the positive results of her field. She can also read charts and medicine, answer questions about drug combinations and the protocol for clinical trials.

Upon reflecting on a rewarding career, Ms. Navarro has come to attribute her success to her curiosity of science, love for learning, aspiration to make the world a better place through the ethical practice of medicine and the support she received from her parents. Ms. Navarro feels that she has been extremely lucky to have had many opportunities throughout her career, which have allowed her to help people to achieve optimal health, and to advance professionally. Every project she’s been a part of has been a major accomplishment.
