Tallahassee, FL, May 29, 2014, Sandi Lanford, Founder of Lifelyme, has been recognized by Elite American Health Professionals for dedication, achievements and leadership in health care research and education.

Ms. Lanford was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2001, which motivated her to become educated about health, infectious illnesses and scientific research. Her interest grew and she started working with physicians to learn more about the disease. Two years later, she was hired as a consultant for the Bowen Research and Training Center where she fielded calls from patients, physicians and researchers seeking answers about the Bowen test and Lyme disease. These calls came from every state in the U.S., Canada and Europe. Ms. Lanford’s interaction with these individuals inspired her to dedicate her career to educating others about Lyme disease and chronic illnesses.

An advocate for the cause, Ms. Lanford created LifeLyme, a nonprofit organization that provides education resources for patients, physicians and researchers seeking information about Lyme disease and other neuroendocrine immune diseases. The foundation was established in 2002 and has expanded over the years to include numerous diseases and illnesses that many people don’t know about. Ms. Lanford prides herself on keeping the website up-to-date in order to provide visitors with the most recent and relevant information. Aside from her work with Lifelyme, Ms. Lanford was inducted into PANDORA, INC. as a working member of the Board of Directors. She also resurrected her artistic talents and has been working on oil paintings at her home studio. Ms. Lanford attributes any success she has experienced throughout her career to her innate determination to bring about improvement where ever it is needed in health care. As a Board member for Pandora, Inc., she is working to help promote the PANDORA Project which is to establish NEI (Neuro Endocrine Immune) Centers throughout the country.
